Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Bcontrol. We have written them to be understood; if anything is unclear, write to us.

1. Who we are

Bcontrol is an app by Bady, a brand of Samuel Jesús Sánchez Robles (tax ID 71985346S, La Tejerona, Gijón (Asturias)). Contact: soportebcontrol@bady.es. By using the app you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

2. What Bcontrol is, and what it is not

Bcontrol helps you log your baby's day (sleep, feeds, diapers, health), suggests a nap schedule based on their age and rhythm, and offers sounds, a sleep school and a space for your own wellbeing.

Bcontrol is not a medical device and does not replace the advice of your paediatrician or any healthcare professional. Predictions, alerts and content are for guidance only. If you have any concern about your baby's health, consult a professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in Europe).

3. Your account

  • You can use Bcontrol without an account; an account lets you sync your data between phones and share it with caregivers.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for what happens through your account and for keeping access to your phone and your Apple, Google or email account secure.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Account.

4. Families and caregivers

  • Whoever creates a baby manages their family: they can invite other caregivers with a code, remove them and choose their partner.
  • Invited caregivers can view, add, edit and delete the logs of the babies in that family. Only invite people you trust.
  • Your journal and mood check-ins are always private and never shared.
  • If the person managing a family deletes their account, the family passes to their partner or, if there is none, to the caregiver who has been there longest.

5. Premium and subscriptions

  • Logging, the 24-hour clock, the age-based schedule and health alerts are free. Premium adds features such as the personalised plan, quick access, full history, all sounds and the full sleep school.
  • Premium is a yearly or monthly subscription. The price is shown in the app before you buy, taxes included.
  • It may include a free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the paid subscription starts. We will remind you the day before.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) account. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. You can manage or cancel it in your store account settings.
  • Refunds are governed by Apple's or Google's policies.
  • Premium is shared with your partner: if the person managing the family marks you as their partner, either of your Premium subscriptions covers you both. Other caregivers need their own subscription for Premium features.
  • If we change prices, we will tell you in advance and the change will not affect any period you have already paid for.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Bcontrol for illegal purposes, to access other people's data without permission, to try to break the security of the service or to overload it. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Content and intellectual property

The app, its design, the sleep school, the sounds and the Bcontrol brand belong to us or are licensed to us. We grant you permission to use them personally within the app. The data you enter is yours.

8. Availability and liability

We work to keep Bcontrol running smoothly, but there may be interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app or for decisions based solely on its predictions or content. None of this limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will let you know in the app before it applies.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live. You can also use the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
